About BlueDyer Distilling

This local distillery has a long and rich history stemming back to the pre-revolutionary days of the American colonies. Using the self-reliant crafting and skills that was heavily relied upon during those days, the family of the distillery began to revive the process in crafting illegal alcohol during the bootlegging days.

Using the old family process and ingredients, BlueDyer Distilling was born to craft American-made and quality-crafted liquor. Incorporating a variety of styles, BlueDyer has plenty of liquor variations to appease a variety of local palettes and preferences.

Their Impressive Spirit Selection

BlueDyer Distilling crafts a plentiful collection of rums, whiskey, and gin, with several variations in between. Regardless of your tastes, you may want to pop by and sample some of the concoctions to taste the diverse flavors that are all distilled and crafted under the same roof.

They craft:

Gold Rum

From an old family recipe, their “Original Gold” Rum is made with high-quality molasses and pure sugar cane. It’s distilled four times and they let it finish in high char oak barrels. This rum earned a silver medal at the ADI Annual Judging of Craft Spirits.

Dark Rum

This rum is made with freshly charred caramel from pure cane sugar, which has a sweet and bold finish.

Whiskey

This whiskey is distilled from bourbon mash and is hand-crafted. There’s corn, rye grain, and malted barley that’s distilled four times and finished in charred oak casks with cherry wood to add to the flavor and finish.

Port Barrel Finished Whiskey

The ingredients in this whiskey are the same as the previous one, but with different portions. It’s distilled four times and then aged in a heavy char oak, then placed for four months in Tawny Port Wine casks. It offers a strong full-bodied flavor with a smooth and sweet finish from the port wine casks.

Gin

BlueDyer Gin is distilled with grain and a unique balance of juniper and citrus to craft this delightful spirit.

Barrel Rested Gin

They take their gin distilling process and age it in oak barrels that not only enhance the flavor, but darken the color to a more golden hue.
