2021 Camry WIND CHILL PEARL/MIDNIGHT BLACK METALLIC ROOF AND REAR SPOILER

What’s new with the 2021 Toyota Camry?

The Toyota Camry was redesigned in 2018, but Toyota taking steps to make sure that this sedan ages well. Since the Camry is one of the most sought-after cars in the nation, updating early and often is a good strategy for the OEM. For 2021, Toyota has made several changes to the Camry to keep this model fresh. more 2021 Camry Receives Small Updates to the Exterior There are just a few alterations to the Camry's front fascia this model year, but they help to better separate LE and XLE models from SE and XSE trims. The L trim has been cut, meaning the LE is now the cheapest Camry available. It’s been upgraded now with a new set of 17-inch wheels. Additionally, the XLE gets new 18-inch wheels. Both trims add a more defined chin to the bottom of the front bumper. For now, SE and XSE models get slight adjustments to the front bumper and showcase a new honeycomb grill design. 2021 Camry TRD & XSE Hybrid The Camry TRD is also coming back for 2021, but nothing much is changing under the hood. Instead, Toyota has replaced the lively red in its exterior color lineup with Ice Edge. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are now standard on the TRD. Those features have also been added as options on the LE, SE, and SE Nightshade (previously unavailable). Many Toyota customers liked the efficiency of the Camry Hybrid but preferred the look of the SE and XSE trims. Catering to the desires of buyers, the brand has introduced a new Camry XSE Hybrid for 2021. The updated fascia that's going on the SE and XSE models will be added along with the Camry's hybrid powertrain. Under the Hood All powertrains will be the same as the 2020 version. A 2.5-liter I-4 that makes as much as 206 hp at 6,600 rpm and 186 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm comes under the hood of most Camrys. Upgraded models will continue to be outfitted with the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 301 hp at 6,600 rpm and 267 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. Both engines are combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth driving. The 2021 Camry Hybrid will also carry over its performance specs from 2020. The 2.5-liter I-4 pairs with a 118-hp electric motor to create a total system output of 208 hp. The engine/motor combo is paired with Toyota's eCVT. Safety & Technology Features Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 2.5+ is available on the new 2021 Camry. The Camry's pre-collision warning system is now able to detect bikes and pedestrians in low-light conditions and can help drivers restabilize the car if they have to quickly swerve out of the way. Additionally, Toyota's adaptive cruise control is now much more intuitive. The new system can follow a car in traffic, stop when necessary, and resume following the car when traffic begins to move again. There are a whopping 17 different variants of the new Camry. However, all models will now come standard with Android Auto compatibility. While the car’s interior remains mostly the same, a new floating infotainment display adds a touch of elegance. A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment center is standard, but more expensive models will have a 9.0-inch unit. Those upgraded models also have an available nine-speaker and 800-watt JBL sound system. 2021 Highlander XSE

2021 Toyota Highlander XSE

Toyota has introduced a new member of the Toyota SUV lineup ‒ meet the 2021 Highlander XSE. Closing the gap between the XLE and Limited trim levels, the new Highlander will expand available trim options and offer a sportier, more performance driven SUV comparable to that of a Jeep Cherokee or Ford Explorer. This new trim marks a significant milestone in the revitalization of the Toyota Highlander! more Exclusive Highlander XSE Interior and Exterior Features The 2021 Highlander XSE offers a great mixture of customer favorite features you might find in the XLE and Limited trim editions, only redefined. Veering away from the classic, family friendly SUV look, the new Highlander delivers an edgier, more aggressive style. Red and black Softex or leather-trimmed seating accompanied with ambient lighting and carbon-fiber finished panels makes for quite a statement. Typical of a Highlander, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity are included, with JBL Premium Sound System and available Dynamic Navigation for on the go assistance. The new 2021 Highlander’s exterior is just as boldly impressive as it’s interior. Sleek black roof rails, mirror caps, and window moldings along with a redesigned facia, grille, and lower spoiler make for a much needed revamped look. The 20” machine-faced alloy wheels and a dual-tip chrome exhaust perfectly accent the athletic style. Highlander XSE Performance & Pricing Along with changes to the interior and exterior, the Toyota Highlander offers some great upgraded performance features too. Added to this trim level are an improved rear stabilizing bar, higher rate springs, and redesigned shock absorbs for a powerful, yet smooth driving experience! Similar to other trim options, the Highlander XSE is equipped with a standard 3.5L V6 engine which generates 295 horsepower offering an efficient, but powerful ride. At 20 and 27 miles per gallon in city and highway driving respectively, you can spend less and drive more! Speaking of spending less, Waldorf Toyota offers competitive pricing for all new cars, trucks and SUVs, and the release of the new Highlander will be no exception. The 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE starting MSRP is $39,000 while the starting MSRP for a 2020 Toyota Highlander Limited is $42,000. Since the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE sits between these two trim levels, this offers a great general idea of the new Highlander’s price point. After it’s official release, more information will become available. Getting excited about the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE? Tips for Driving in Winter Weather

It’s December, which means snow, sleet, and ice in our area can arrive at any time. We thought it might be useful to share some tips for driving in winter weather, especially if you're traveling out of town for the Holidays! more Accelerate and decelerate slowly. Be sure that you gradually ease into the gas or break when the roads are slick, to avoid spinouts. Drive slowly. Even if the roads aren’t terrible, black ice paired with speed can be a recipe for disaster. Be sure to slow down and take your time when the temperature is below freezing. Increase your spacing between yourself and the vehicle in front of you. Allow for plenty of stopping room, in the event that your car begins to slide. Test your brakes before you get out on the roadway. Come to a few harsh stops in your driveway, before you venture out, to test the road conditions and your brakes with the slippery roads. If you can avoid it, don’t come to a complete stop. If you can safely coast through an intersection without having to come to a stop, or to make a turn, you’re likely to keep traction longer than if you stop completely. Slow and steady wins the race. When faced with a hill, don’t hit the gas too fast and try to gain too much speed. Take your time, drive slowly and steadily until you reach the top of the hill. If you can avoid it, stay inside. Allow road crews to treat the roadways before you get behind the wheel. Driving in winter weather can be frightening, especially if you don’t do it very often. Take these tips along for the ride, and stay safe, if you can’t stay off the roads. Contact us today to set up an appointment with our Service Department, to ensure your car is ready for the quickly approaching winter weather!
